Tips for creating your dream kitchen
DACOR®, a leader in high-end kitchen appliance design, manufacturing and distribution, announced today the introduction of the EpicureÒ Raised Ventilation Systems (ERV). The ERV was designed to efficiently vent DACOR’s powerful commercial-style ranges and cooktop appliances with the touch of a button, removing unwanted smoke and cooking aromas from the kitchen.
The ERV is available in three different sizes including 30”, 36” and 48” wide models. The 30” model has been designed to integrate with Epicure, Millennia™ and Preference™ all electric or dual fuel 30” ranges. Also, the 36” and 48” ERV models integrate easily with the Epicure 36” and 48” professional cooktops as well as the new Millennia 36” Electric Glide™ cooktop.
The ERV is the only commercial-style downdraft/range combination on the market that includes a patented Gas Infrared closed door broiling system and a four part Pure Convection™ Self Cleaning oven, with four 15,000 BTU sealed gas burners. Now, keeping smoke out of the kitchen has never been easier. In addition, the ERV has an elevated 10” high intake and multiple remote blower options, ranging from 600cfm to 1600cfm.
By selecting the two in-line blowers, ILB8/ILB10, or the two remote mounted blowers, REMP3/REMP16, customers can be assured of a smoke-free kitchen environment. For increased ventilation, customers can combine up to two blowers to accommodate extra long ducting runs.
“By combining the power of our Epicure ranges and cooktops with the efficiency of our new ERV downdraft ventilation system, DACOR has created a perfect kitchen environment for chef enthusiasts,” said S. Michael Joseph, chairman and chief executive officer of DACOR. Now, customers will be able to enjoy their kitchen knowing they won’t have to worry about smoke and fumes.
For designers, the ERV offers various design options where the vent can be discreetly placed in a center-island or peninsula kitchen environment. The ERV also conveniently disappears out of sight when not in use for unobstructed kitchen views that are more inviting to guests and family. Easy operation is another feature of the ERV with a simple up and down switch and the infinite rotary switch located on the right front face of the vent that allows customers to operate the vent at just the right efficiency level.
